Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Rylee started asking about a week before Oct 31 when trick-or-treat day was. She was so excited when it finally arrived. Here's some pictures of her Minnie Mouse costume.
Can you believe all the candy she got? We only went to 7 houses and her bucket is overflowing with treats.

Last Tuesday we finally got Rylee in for her 2 year well check. The doctor called in a couple of prescriptions and feeling a bit lazy I decided to use the drive-up at the pharmacy. While we were waiting Rylee kept yelling, "I want some french fries. I want some french fries." I kept trying to explain that they didn't have any french fries, but Rylee didn't want to believe me. Meanwhile the pharmacist was laughing...this didn't make the situation any better. As the pharmacist gave us the bag and I began driving away. Rylee said, "Where's my french fries." After she realized there really weren't any french fries she began crying the whole way home, I want french fries. Boo Hoo. French fries. Sniff, Sniff. Needless to say we ended up eating fast food that night for dinner. And yes we all had french fries!

Making Cookies

We may have a little Betty Crocker on our hands. Rylee was quite the helper and even added a few extra handfuls of brown sugar when mom wasn't looking.

Note to self: Don't let Rylee stir the cookies until all the flour is mixed in!

Rylee was picking out the chocolate chips from the dough.

What could be better than making chocolate chip cookies with mom? Eating them!!!

Life Through the Eyes of a Two Year Old

The other day in the backyard Rylee and I had a conversation about autumn. I explained that it was going to start getting cooler soon and that the leaves would change colors. Then I told her that all the leaves will fall off the trees. Rylee looked at me and said, "I catch all the leaves." If only it were that simple.

Rylee's Birthday

It's hard to believe my baby girl is 2 years old. Time sure goes by fast. After weeks of her changing her mind on what kind of birthday party she wanted we settled on Elmo. It ended up being a lot of fun.
