Rylee's 4th Birthday Part 2

Rylee asked for a princess birthday party this year. We thought it was only fitting that she dress up like a princess.

She got lots of presents this year. Here she is with all her new things.

She had so much fun with her pinata last year that we had another one this year.

There was enough candy in there to last us at least a year!!!

Here is Rylee and her birthday cupcakes. Mommy attempted to make crown cupcakes...don't look to close!

Rylee had a really fun day! It's hard to believe she's already 4 years old! She's growing up WAY too fast!

We love you so much Rylee.

Rylee's 4th Birthday Part 1

We decided that for Rylee's birthday we would take her up to the Preston parade and rodeo. We had a really good day. Here are the girls waiting for the parade to start.

Rylee looking too cute in her cowboy hat. She fit right in!

This year for the Friday night parade they did an all horse parade. Rylee thought it was wonderful! She loved all the candy that she got!

Here's the rodeo...we got front row seats so we felt like we were right in on the action!

Maybe a little too close for Brynlee's comfort!

4th of July

We had a great Independence Day. Rylee and Mommy were able to go see the city fireworks. Daddy and Bryn didn't make it out this year...maybe next year.

Rylee loved the fireworks. She was so excited! She ran around clapping and cheering.

Here are the girls in their cute 4th of July outfits.

Rylee is showing that she is proud to be an American.

Rylee thinks that sparklers are pretty cool. She was trying so hard to blow them out that mommy thought she might pass out. :)

Bryn wasn't so sure what to think of all the noises and lights, but she did pretty well as long as she didn't take her eyes off of them.

June

We spent most of June unpacking and getting settled in. Here's a few highlights of the month.

Brynlee started sitting up!

Rylee got to go fishing with Daddy and Grandpa Mason. She even got her own Barbie fishing pole. Sadly though she didn't catch a fish. Maybe next time.

May

We spent most of the month of May packing. We got to move into our new home over Memorial Day Weekend. Needless to say we didn't take many pictures. Here's one I got of Ry. No, she isn't upset about moving she had just tripped and fallen into the box.

April

April was a fun month. Not only did we get to celebrate Easter, but we also got to celebrate Shaun's birthday too. Bryn got her first taste of "real" food. And we put an offer on a townhouse. Here's a few pics.

Bryn got her first taste of cereal! Yummy!!!

We got to color Easter eggs at Grandpa and Grandma Mason's house. Rylee had so much fun finding the eggs. We need to let the Easter Bunny know next year to hide them a little harder!!!

We also went to Baby Animal Days. Rylee loved seeing all the animals and she thought it was pretty cool to pet them. Here she is having a staring contest with a goat.
The highlight of her days was holding a little turtle.
She even got to ride a pony.
And what could be better than a visit to the Easter Bunny.

Rylee is a Smarty Pants

Rylee is getting to be so smart. She loves letters. She can write most letters and she knows the sounds they make.

Here she is hard at work practicing her writing skills.

Here's a sample of her writing. I think it's pretty good for a 3 year old!

Blessing Day

These pictures are almost a month late, but I wanted to show off how beautiful our baby girl looked on her blessing day. Bryn was blessed on February 7th.

Gotta love this picture!

Sweet Baby Girl

Here's a couple of pics of Brynlee. I absolutely love this little outfit!

Now for an update for those who may be wondering. Bryn ended up spending a very long 9 days in the NICU. We now go in for weekly weight checks. She is suppose to gain 5 ounces each week. She did great the first week and gained exactly 5 ounces, but the following week she only gained 3. The doctor was a bit concerned about this low weight gain and wanted me to try to give her an extra ounce of formula at each feeding. This did the trick! She totally shocked the nurses and gained 13 ounces in 1 week!!! Tomorrow is hopefully our last weekly weight check we're interested to see how much or how little she gained this week.

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Here's a few pics:

Rylee got a pink Christmas tree to put up in her room this year. We took her to the dollar store to pick out her own ornaments then let her decorate her tree all by herself. She was very proud of it! Santa even remembered to put a present under her tree. She thought this was pretty cool!

Here is our tree on Christmas morning.

Brynlee and her presents.
